The starting point for a gender-based intervention in any organisation is a gender audit. Here, we will provide a baseline assessment concerning how well an organisation manages and benefits from the contributions men and women in the organisation are enabled to make. Our research will be both exhaustive and meticulous, but also provide key easy-to-implement recommendations. We recommend that our gender auditing process be followed up by a gender policy or manual (or the upgrade of existing manuals). We would then recommend a course of gender training (at both executive and operational levels) to disseminate the new gender policy in the organisation workplace.
